Benapole is a far remote village which is situated at the western frontier of Bangladesh under Sharsha Upazilla of Jashore district. In 1947, a checkpost was first ever inaugurated over here. Through which only a few People crossed the border by then; most of them were local inhabitants.
Since 1972, the eve of change emerged with the Independence of Bangladesh. Nowadays, this is an international checkpost and has become the Primal medium of travelling for India-Bangladesh communication. Around 10 (Ten) thousand travellers use this checkpost to travel in and out every day.
With the wind of change, a full-fledged custom house was inevitably established due to a huge expansion of the landport working arena in 2000 at Benapole. Right now, a few crucial departments are carrying out their responsibilities well. Some of these departments are:
